Tanjakan – Tanjak means hill, and Tanjakan is known as the hill style.  Although not actually so, the techniques of Tanjakan look like a mix of Harimau and Madi.  The Tanjakan fighter uses low positions and leaps to attack an opponent.

Galih Pakuan – Similar to Cikalong and Harimau, Galih Pakuan was the first style studied by Pak Uyuh in Garut.  It includes empty hands and weapon techniques including a rare fighting technique using 18 golok.

Ulin Badui – Ulin Badui is a style inspired by now extinct wrestling techniques of the Badui people.   Some techniques in Mande Muda are based off the original wrestling material, and others only relate to the idea of being primitive and rough.

Sampiyong – This style is more of a sport wherein opponents fight with a rattan stick and shield.  Originally, kids playing would make their weapons from sticks and play fight from the back of a water buffalo as a game.   Adults later developed the activity into a sport done at ceremonies and celebrations. 

Ujungan – Ujung means “end” (of a stick) and Ujungan is a type of stick fighting match.  Opponents do not use a shield or block strikes, but it is believed they protect themselves with magic.  They are actually testing each other’s powers by striking and seeing who gets hit the most.

Setia Hati – This style from Central Java uses a type of freestyle training and uses powerful stomps and kicks.
