Pencak Silat Discussion Board

My teacher, Guru Besar Jerry Jacobs, of Pukulan Cimande Kombinasi, and Santiago Dobles are planning (not set date as yet) to do a seminar (hopefully a weekend camp) some time in the spring, hosted by Amo Guro Michael Blackgrave, of SEAMOK. While his style is predominantly FMA, there is a strong silat influence. I attended a seminar he did at an Escrima school here in Houston on Sept. 19th, and was impressed. When I get more information, I'll keep folks updated.

A personal aside....I am actively teaching now, in the Houston area. Thanks again to Doc for pointing some folks my way.

Let us know when you have a firm date set. If I can get down that way, I'll try to make it.....hopefully a few of my guys can come along!

Guro Mike may not be able to host the seminar. I am looking for ways to make it possible for me to have Guru Besar Jacobs down to Houston next year. However, Mike is doing a seminar in February in Houston. Feb 20&21. Depending on my fiancee's work schedule, I plan on attending.
